I've been using the Mountain House pouches for years and find they do a great job of keeping the kids (and myself) full. The mac and cheese does need a bit more water as well as some more time to fully hydrate. It is unfortunate that the grams are shrinking on the newest pouches but I do have enough of the old to last for some time.

Love Mountain House and will be buying more for camping and for emergencies. Great shelf life!!! I highly recommend these to all. The ingredients list is very clean so I am happy to have them on hand for my family.
