British Columbia WorkSafe BC Regulation First Aid Kits
All workplaces require a first aid kit in British Columbia. Regulations on first aid services are required under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation. The first aid at your workplace is determined by the number of staff members at a given shift, proximity to the nearest hospital, and activities that can be deemed hazardous within the workplace. If conditions are not met and employees are at risk/injured, this can result in fines to the business.
