Yukon Regulation First Aid Kits
A safe environment in the workplace that employers must uphold is found in the Yukon Workers’ Compensation Health and Safety Board. According to their Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, all workers are required to have a first aid kit. In Schedule 1, employers can determine what Class hazard work they are, and with Schedule 2 what first aid kit is most appropriate for their workplace.
Class C hazard work – (work of administrative, profession or clerical nature. Work that does not require substantial physical exertion or exposure to hazardous conditions, work processes or substances.

Class B hazard work – (recreational activities including guiding and outfitting, tourism, campgrounds, the operation of medical services/facilities, social service programs, retail stores, food and beverage preparation and sales, small appliance service and repair, janitorial service, etc.
