Northwest Territories First Aid Kits

    First Aid Regulations for the Northwest Territories fall under Schedule G, Subsections 58(1) and (4). Level of first aid kit is dependent on distance from the nearest medical facility and number of workers on site at one time.

     

    Number of workers at workplace per shift

    Close workplace (within 30 minutes from the nearest medical facility)

    Distant workplace (between 30-120 minutes from the nearest medical facility)

    Isolated (more than 120 minutes of surface travel to medical facility, or if normal mode of transport is aircraft)
