*Note* Before this MRE, I have only eaten Canadian MREs.
All in all, these MREs did the job. I took them out on a four day venture with little other food to see how they taste, and keep me energized. The mains were "okay" in the most literal definition, the salt was most definitely needed, the FRH was excellent at it's job as well. The "bread" item was good 100% of the time, I had whole wheat bread, white bread, and tortillas. The peanut butter, to my Canadian sensibilities, was terrible ): The snacks were pretty good though, if you're lucky enough to get the BBQ corn kernels, they are actually insane.
For the drinks, I had gotten Bill's Brew for the coffee (not sure if anything else is offered), and it was okay. It was quite easy to water down, as the packets aren't intended to make too much coffee. The electrolyte drink, however... let's just say, if I never see a mixed berry Ener-IV again I will not be sad.
