How/When to Use:

1. The thermometer is suitable for an indoor environment without strong air convection (for example, winds for a fan, air-conditioner, or a heater) between the thermometer and the person.
2. Do not hold the thermometer for a long time, it is sensitive to ambient temperature.
3. Make sure the sensor head is free of foreign matter before using
4. Make sure the forehead is dry and doesn't have any sweat or hair covering it. Otherwise, the results may not be accurate.
5. No intense emotional or strenuous exercises before measuring.

Measuring Forehead Temperature:

1. Press the Measure button to the power on the thermometer
2. Press the SET button, the thermometer enters the Forehead Mode. the "Man" symbol is displayed on the screen.
3. Point the thermometer at the forehead about 1-5cm away from the skin's surface.
4. Press and release the Measure button for 1 second. The temperature reading will be displayed on the screen instantly.
5. If no activity is detected, the thermometer will power off automatically within 10 seconds.
6. Normal Temperature reading for the forehead is 36.1°C-37.5°C / 97.0°F-99.5°F

Measuring Object Temperature:

1. Press the Measure button to the power on the thermometer
2. Press the SET button, the thermometer enters the Object Mode. the "thermometer" symbol is displayed on the screen.
3. Point the thermometer at the center of the object about 1-5cm away from the surface.
4. Press and release the Measure button for 1 second. The temperature reading will be displayed on the screen instantly.
5. If no activity is detected, the thermometer will power off automatically within 10 seconds.
