I purchased two Fire Blankets recently. I did already have one that was given to me as a gift for use in vehicle fire, and large enough to cover a person and protect them from the fire. It has been in my truck for years. Used it once to help a motorcyclist that had his bike decide to become a BBQ. It worked great, it put the fire out. When I saw these blankets on special, I bought two of them. One for the cabin as I have a propane stove and a wood stove and one for my house. I know from experience that they work great as previously mentioned and I definitely recommends that everyone should have access to one in their house.
