Designed for packaging hops, the Green Mylar Bag allows you to store up to 44 lbs of pelletized hops in a single bag. Made of polyester resin that provides long term protection and storage, the Green Mylar Bag also blocks out light and oxygen that may reduce the life of your hops. Vacuum seal ready, it is perfect for a wide range of application including farmers, craft brewers, and brewers at home. The use of vacuum sealers, heat sealers, and oxygen absorbers are recommended to preserve the freshness of the hops through long storage durations. The green Mylar Bag can also be used for other dry food storage needs and provide an efficient and effective way to preserve long term food products. An integral part of any food storage system.

How To Use:

1. Open up the Mylar bag.
2. Place hops or desired dry food source into the Mylar bag.
3. Leave approximately 2 inches (approximately 5 cm) of place at the top of the bag for sealing.
4. Use a vacuum sealer to remove the oxygen from the Mylar bag.
5. Using a Hot Jaws Handheld Heat Sealer, clamp on the opening of the bag and wait 5 seconds for the bag to seal.
6. If you do not have a heat sealer, an iron will also work. Simply place the opening of the bag on a flat surface and apply a hot iron to seal the opening. Wait 5 seconds.
7. Oxygen absorbers may be used after when resealing the Mylar Bag (Refer to info sheet in specifications)
