Gas Mask Filter Information:
The lifetime of a gas mask filter is determined by its breakthrough time, tested under EN 14387+A1 standards at 70% humidity and a flow rate of 30 l/min, mirroring the air volume of an average person doing moderate work. The filter's approximate usage time can be gauged by comparing workplace concentration and the filter's minimum Dynamic Adsorption Capacity (DAC). Each NBC-77 SOF filter is factory-sealed in a plastic bag. For optimal longevity, store unopened filters in a clean environment between -5 to +30°C with humidity below 80%. They can also withstand -30 to +50°C and humidity below 95%. The filter's storage expiration is labeled on the product. Avoid attempts to regenerate or clean filters using compressed mediums. Post-use, these filters are categorized as special waste. Their disposal should align with the nature of the filtered substance and adhere to waste treatment regulations. If discarding, detach from the respirator and treat as solid waste, consulting local regulations for proper disposal methods.
