How/When to Use:

Pressure bandage is a combination of an elastic bandage with a non-adherent gauze pad that is highly absorbent. In case of an emergency when absorbancy is required for a bleeding wound and pressure is required, the pressure bandage provides both in an emergency situation. First place the non-adherent pad to cover the wound and then wrap with enough pressure to prevent further bleeding.
