Details: 

Bacitracin zinc ointment can be used for a variety of minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. Bacitracin Ointment stops and prevents bacterial infections by killing susceptible bacteria or inhibiting growth.

This antibiotic only prevents bacterial infections and does not work for virus or fungus infections. 

Do not use this product over large areas of the body. Do not use it for serious skin infections. 

How To Use: 

To use the ointment, follow these steps:

1. Wash your hands well with soap and water. Wash the injured area with soap and water and pat dry thoroughly with a clean towel.
2. Apply a small amount of the ointment (an amount equal to the size of your fingertip) to the injured skin. A thin layer is all that is needed. Do not touch the tip of the tube to your skin, hands, or anything else.
3. Replace and tighten the cap right away.
4. You may cover the affected area with a sterile bandage.
5. Wash your hands again.
